About Us.

Our story began when our co founder Christina was diagnosed with a chronic illness and offered a lifetime of medication as the only way forward​. Refusing to accept that as the full answer, her mother and co-founder, Anitha, began searching for gentler, deeper alternatives.​ Through that journey, she came to see how many modern illnesses are rooted in what we eat, how we live, and how we hold stress—factors that are often left unaddressed in conventional care.

Root cause,
lifestyle focused healing

Health issues are seen as messages from the body that something in daily life needs attention.
Instead of chasing symptoms, the work is about gently addressing the roots in diet, routine, stress, sleep, and environment.

You are supported to upgrade habits step by step so that healing feels doable, not overwhelming.
The aim is lasting wellness and resilience, not just temporary relief.

How we look at health

The focus is on helping you return to health by gently reshaping how you eat, live, and relate to your environment.
You are guided to notice your body’s signals, eat more intuitively, and use food as daily medicine rather than follow external rules.

In the past, structured diets, calorie counting, and strict plans seemed effective, until they stopped working and people slipped back into old patterns.
That experience showed how surface-level fixes do not teach the skills or self-trust needed to stay healthy in the long run.

A different, gentler approach

From that understanding grew a softer, more sustainable way of working with food and lifestyle.
The priority is to make small, kind changes that are easy to live with, rather than dramatic shifts that burn out your willpower.

There are no “good” or “bad” foods here.
Together, guilt around eating is unlearned and a calmer, more respectful relationship with food is rebuilt.

You learn to eat in tune with your body type, the seasons, your current health, and even your mood, while still enjoying every meal.
The intention is not perfection, but a way of living you can actually carry for life.

What this work is not

At The Lilac Farm, there are no rigid diet charts, fixed portions, or pricey supplements.
There is no “one-size-fits-all” plan, and nothing that disconnects you from your own body’s wisdom.

The process at the farm

Every person is guided one-to-one, with recommendations tailored to individual needs, preferences, and pace.
Most guests or clients choose to work over a few months so that new habits have time to settle into everyday life.

Throughout, the goal is to make your lifestyle so simple and sustainable that you no longer feel dependent on a practitioner.
When the process is complete, many people find they are able to maintain their health independently, carrying these tools with them long after they leave the farm.
